Planning is now underway for the fifth annual 2010 Salt Lake Sustainable Building Conference - a full day of speakers and presentations on sustainable development. The conference will be held on April 8, 2010 at the Salt Palace Convention Center, featuring Keynote Speaker Janine Benyus, author of Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature.

We are proud to announce the keynote speaker for the 2010 Salt Lake Sustainable Building Conference. Janine Benyus is a natural sciences writer, innovation consultant, and author of six books, including her latest − Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature. In Biomimicry, she names an emerging discipline that seeks sustainable solutions by emulating nature's designs and processes (e.g., solar cells that mimic leaves, agriculture that models a prairie, businesses that run like redwood forests).
